Abstract Objective To evaluate the feasibility of quantitative veins (QV) imaging in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF) by using SENCEFUL MRI. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Twenty-two CF patients and 20 healthy volunteers were enrolled as the patient group and the control group. All patients underwent 1.5T SENCEFUL MRI examination. The latter were randomly sampled two-dimensional rapid small-angle excitation sequence. QV parameters were obtained by manual segmentation of the lungs on the ventilation weighted function images and compared between groups; meanwhile, the QV parameters of the patients were correlated with the pulmonary function test results.
