各市人民政府,省政府各厅委、各直属机构:2001年,在第十七届世界杯足球预选赛亚洲赛区(沈阳主场)决赛(简称“十强赛”)期间,公安、武警各参战单位周密策划、精心组织、措施得力。出色地完成了这一举世瞩目的大型赛事的安全保卫工作;在2001年“九一”扑灭沈阳大龙洋石油有限公司油罐区特大爆炸火灾中,消防各参战集体全力以赴、艰苦奋战、舍生忘死,成功地扑救了多年来罕见的特大火灾,避免了国家和集体财产的更大损失。为表彰在这两项工作中做出突出贡献的先进集体和先进个人,弘扬他们爱岗敬业、英勇无畏、协同作战的精神,省政府决定授予省公安厅等5个单位“在‘十强赛’安全保卫中做出突出贡献的先进集体”荣誉称号,授予辽宁省消防局、沈阳市消防支队“在
