随着当今台湾社会结构的变迁,利益格局的调整,台湾民众思想观念发生了较为深刻的变化。在这一社会背景下,台湾妇女通过不同的方式表达对维护自身政治、经济权益的诉求也日趋强烈,成为台湾社会关注的热点。本文结合近年来台湾妇女参政、维权的历程及现状,就如何推进性别平等,维护妇女权益问题作些思考。一、台湾推进男女性别平等的基本状况台湾性别平等理念的确立是与妇女在社会生活中的地位、作用及发展紧密结合在一起。
With the change of the social structure and the adjustment of the interest pattern in Taiwan today, the people in Taiwan have undergone profound changes in their ideological concepts. In this social context, the desire of women in Taiwan to express their own political and economic rights and interests in different ways has also become increasingly intense and has become a hot topic in Taiwan’s society. Combining with the history and status quo of women’s participation in politics and rights protection in Taiwan in recent years, this article makes some reflections on how to promote gender equality and safeguard women’s rights and interests. I. The Basic Situation of Gender Equality for Men and Women in Taiwan The establishment of the concept of gender equality in Taiwan is closely linked with the status, role and development of women in social life.
