一、加快全区高中阶段教育的必要性和紧迫性(一)普通高中教育供小于求,大量的初中毕业生无理想选择截至2006年底,我区经过10年的艰苦努力,基本实现了“两基”(基本普及九年义务教育、基本扫除青壮年文盲)的目标。全区“普九”人口覆盖率达到100%,高校招生录取自1999年以来也快速增长,2006年被高校本科录取人数达到5092人,创全区历史最高记录。
I. Necessity and Urgency to Accelerate High School Education in the Region (1) The Supply of Ordinary Senior High School Students is Less than Demand. A large number of junior high school graduates have no ideal choice. By the end of 2006, after 10 years of hard work, our district has basically achieved Two basic goals (basically universal nine-year compulsory education, basically eliminating illiteracy among young and middle-aged people). The population coverage rate of the district’s population has reached 100%. Enrollment in colleges and universities has also grown rapidly since 1999. In 2006, the number of undergraduates enrolled in colleges and universities reached 5,092, setting a record for the region’s history.
