江南四月,烟花扬州。这是一个充满希望,生机勃勃的季节.4月7日,来自全国各地的二百多位语文界代表,云集名城扬州,召开了“中国教育学会全国中语会叶圣陶语文教育思想研究中心成立大会暨首届学术研讨会”。会场设在扬州市政府第二招待所的会堂里。会场上悬挂着叶圣陶先生彩色画像.叶圣陶先生的子女叶至善、叶至美、叶至诚应邀出席了成立大会,叶至善先生并在大会上讲了话.全国中语会理事长刘国正、副理事长徐振维、秘书长张定远、副秘书长陈金明及中语界其他一些知名人士也出席了大会,大会在隆重热烈的气氛中开幕,首先播放了叶老生前在全国中语会第三届年会上的讲话录音,还播放了因病未能前来参加大会的叶圣陶语文教育思想研究中心名誉主任张志公先生的录音讲话,并宣读了研究中心顾问吕叔湘先生的书面讲
