我省气候温和,大部分地区年平均温度在15℃以上,最冷的元月份平均温度5℃以上,最热的七月份平均温度在25℃以下,绝对最低温度10℃以上,绝对最高温度在40℃以下,雨量充沛,年平均降雨量一般1300～1500mm。无霜期长,大部分地区在240天左右。冬无严寒,夏无酷暑。蕃茄、辣椒、茄子、南瓜、菜豆、豇豆等主要果菜,在大部分地区的盛暑期及盛暑后能开花结实,采收供应期能达5个月以上,故果菜类资源丰富,种类繁多。为使地方品种很好地加以利用,我们特将本省除贵阳市以外的果菜类的主要地方品种简略介绍如下,仅供参考。
