The Nissan nLeaf is the first all-electric vehicle to try mass market. Nissan now pin their hopes on a plant in the United States with an annual output of 150,000 cars. General Electric EV1 EV debut in 2003, when some people call it a technical tragedy. EV1 electric vehicles use lead-acid batteries, charging a single mileage is about 60 miles. GM announced that the model will no longer be on the road and destroyed. Although General Motors never disclosed the true cost of making an EV1 (the car was for rent and not for sale), the company has invested $ 1.5 billion on the project. However, General Motors has announced that the car is not economically successful and will not be available in the mass market.
