This article explains the true connotation of Qu Qiubai’s photo inscription. The high degree of generalization of the relationship between the inscriptions “soul” and “body shell” actually shows Qu Qiubai’s attitude towards life and death and implicitly shows his determination to sacrifice his revolutionary spirit for the liberation of the Chinese people.
