OBJECTIVE: To determine the effect of growth hormone (GH) treatment in children with growth hormone deficiency (GHD), especially in the GH challenge test. PARTICIPANTS: 337 children with pre-puberty GHD less than 10 years of age in the UK Pharmacia KIGS database. The GH response of the challenge test <20 mU / L.
