玉米全蚀病菌(Gaeumannomyces graminis var.maydois,Yao,Wang et Zhu)在碎玉米粒培养基上能够产生毒素。培养物经甲醇浸提,活性炭柱吸附层析获粗提纯毒素结晶,生物活性测定表明:该粗毒素对玉米胚根生长有明显的抑制作用;对玉米幼嫩的种子根和4叶期幼苗的离体叶和活体叶有致萎作用;同时能损伤玉米叶片细胞膜。用毒素接种后,寄主表现出病原菌侵染相似的症状。
Gaeumannomyces graminis var. Macydois (Yao, Wang et Zhu) is able to produce toxins on ground corn kernels. The culture was subjected to methanol extraction and activated carbon column chromatography to obtain crude purified toxin crystals. The biological activity assay showed that the crude toxin had a significant inhibitory effect on the radicle growth of corn; the young seedling roots and 4-leaf stage seedlings of corn In vitro leaves and live leaves have withered effect; at the same time can damage maize leaf cell membrane. After inoculation with the toxin, the host showed similar symptoms of pathogen infection.
