中国雕塑作为造型艺术的门类之一,不管是在题材内容的选取,还是在艺术风格的表现形式,或是在雕塑技法的运用,甚至是在材质上的使用都具有浓厚的民族特色和鲜明的时代特色。罗汉信仰,源远流长,以罗汉为题材创作的木雕作品不计其数,造型各异。本文主要通过欣赏、观察和研究檀香木雕《长眉罗汉》作品,探讨中国雕塑文化艺术的装饰性、意象性等特点,以期从中充分展现中国雕塑文化对人们修学佛法潜移默化的作用。
