IS6110 Restriction fragmentation length polymorphism (REFP) fingerprinting is widely used in genotyping of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (hereinafter referred to as Mycobacterium tuberculosis) due to its repeatability and strong discrimination ability. However, this method requires high quality genomic DNA and requires the cultivation of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, so the test period is longer. In addition, fingerprinting and pairing studies are complex and require complex computer software for large-scale analysis.
