《一小时的故事》是19世纪美国重要的女性作家凯特·肖邦短篇小说中的精品,贯穿于整篇小说作者运用了多种写作技巧。本文试从分析作品中对比、象征及讽刺的运用入手,解析作者是怎样通过这些艺术手法,表现那个时代对女性价值的漠视和自由的束缚,揭示了女主人公马拉德夫人女性意识的觉醒以及女性对于自由的追求只能以生命为代价的残酷现实。
One Hour’s Story is a staple of Kate Chopin’s short story of the 19th-century American leading female writer, using a variety of writing techniques throughout the novel’s author. This article attempts to analyze the use of contrast, symbolism and satire from the analysis of the works. By analyzing these works, the author analyzes the author’s indifference and freedom to women’s values and reveals the awakening of the heroine Mallard’s female consciousness. Women’s pursuit of freedom can only be the brutal reality at the expense of life.
