IGCP 199项第二次工作学术会议于1987年3月3—5日在北京召开。与会代表约 60人,其中有16位是来自加拿大、美、意、瑞士、英、法、奥地利、西班牙等国的外国学者。其中有不少是在国际学术界享有较高声誉的著名学者,如瑞士苏黎世高等理工学院许靖华教授、加拿大前能源矿产部部长(前国际地层委员会主席)D.Mclaren 教授、美国伯克利劳伦斯实验室 F.Asaro 教授、英国的 A.Hallam 教授、奥地利科学院院士 A.Preisinger 教授等。IGCP 中国委员会主席程裕祺教授等地矿部有关的领导出席了会议。
The second academic conference of IGCP 199 was held in Beijing from March 3-5, 1987. About 60 delegates attended the conference, of whom 16 were foreign scholars from Canada, the United States, Italy, Switzerland, Britain, France, Austria, Spain and other countries. Many of them are well-known scholars who enjoy a high reputation in international academic circles, such as Professor Xu Jinghua from the Swiss Polytechnic Institute in Zurich, Switzerland, Professor D. McLaren, former Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Canada (former chairman of the International Commission on Geology), Lawrence Laboratories Berkeley Professor A. Asaro, Professor A. Hallam in the United Kingdom, and A. Preisinger, Academician of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. IGCP China Committee Chairman Professor Cheng Yuqi and other relevant leaders of the Ministry attended the meeting.
