水体中的氯离子含量可用摩尔法(亦称银盐法或铬酸钾指示剂法)测定。在测定的过程中会产生含氯化银沉淀的废液。为了回收其中的银,笔者曾用锌粉在微酸性介质中跟氯化银反应的方法,取得了银的回收率达95%左右的可喜结果。然而,用该法回收银要消耗一些价格较贵的锌粉,此乃其不足也。为了克服上述方法之不足,笔者改用金属活泼性稍差,极易获得且不用花钱的废铁
Chloride in water can be measured by the molar method (also known as silver salt method or potassium chromate indicator method).
