千百年来,美丽的大洋河从岫岩境内缓缓流过,清澈的河水养育了两岸淳朴的岫岩人民,也哺育了许许多多英雄人物,让人千古传颂。岫岩历史悠久,人杰地灵,山川秀美,物华天宝,是闻名世界的中国玉都、菱镁之乡,也是一个“八山半水一分田,半分道路和庄园”的近海山区县。得天独厚的地理优势和自然资源享誉海内外,堪称镶嵌在辽东半岛上的一颗璀璨明珠。本刊编发了如下文章,意在把一个文化底蕴丰厚,多姿多彩的岫岩,介绍给读者。
For thousands of years, the beautiful Dayang River flows slowly through the territory of Xiuyan. The clear water has raised the honest Xiuyan people on both sides of the Strait and nurtured many heroes for generations to come. Xiuyan has a long history, outstanding people, beautiful mountains and rivers, Wuhua Tianbao, is the world famous Chinese jade, hometown of Magnesite, but also a “half a mountain of water, half a road and manor,” the coastal mountain counties.
