2013 marks the 10th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN strategic partnership. In the past ten years, the relations between China and ASEAN have created the golden decade. In the next ten years, China and ASEAN will work together to build a China-ASEAN community of destiny and draw a “China-ASEAN” Diamond Decade under the framework of the “2 + 7” cooperation. Guangxi is linked with the landscapes of the ASEAN countries and has the same cultural background. It is the only province between China and the ASEAN countries that has both land borders and sea passages. It is also the frontier and window for China’s opening-up and cooperation to ASEAN.
