On October 11, 2013, the 2nd Beijing Zheng Hangsheng Social Development Foundation’s 2nd Young Scholar Forum was held in Shanghai Normal University. The theme of this forum is “Theoretical Awareness and the Promotion of Sociology in China: The Frontiers of Sociological Theory and Applied Research” . The Academic Committee of the Foundation selects 30 articles from the submissions of more than 110 young scholars and sponsors the authors to participate in this Forum and the China Social Development Forum held in Shanghai Municipal Party School from December 12 to 13.
