听说教学法,是指学习语言要听说领先,读写跟上,通过口语训练掌握外语,利用心理学上的这种刺激反应理论,强化操作,最终形成自动化习惯,达到脱口而出,从而学会语言。听说法教学法的优点是重点突出,练习的针对性、目的性强。本文重点阐述听说教学法实际应用及应用时注意的问题已表明“以学生为中心,最大限度发挥学生主体角色”的新教学模式的现实意义,力求探索英语教学方法的新途径,促进学生听说水平的提高。论证并得出了英语听说教学法能够进一步提高英语学习效果和教学水平。
