汕头,是一座曾惨遭日本侵略者蹂躏的城市,也是一座见证日本侵略者投降,闪耀抗战荣光的英雄城市。日本投降后,汕头被划为第三受降区,负责接受以潮汕为中心的粤东地区和以曲江(韶关)为中心的粤北地区的日军投降。1945年9月28日,第三受降区受降仪式在第7战区前进指挥所(今汕头市外马路131号的洋商会馆)二楼举行。受降长官徐景唐接受《侵汕日军投降书》,宣告驻汕4800名日军向潮汕人民投降。
Shantou, a city that had been ravaged by the Japanese invaders and a heroic city that witnessed the surrender of Japanese invaders and the glory of the war of resistance. After Japan surrendered, Shantou was designated as the third subsidence zone and was responsible for accepting the surrender of the eastern part of Guangdong, mainly in Chaoshan, and the northern part of Guangdong, mainly in Qujiang (Shaoguan). On September 28, 1945, the third drop-off area ceremony was held on the second floor of the advance command post of the 7th Theater (now the Foreign Chamber of Commerce at 131 Waima Road, Shantou). The fallen officer Xu Jing Tang accepted the surrender of the Japanese invaded and Shantou, and declared that 4800 Japanese troops stationed in Shantou surrendered to the Chaoshan people.
