存世有一种机制方孔钱光绪通宝,背文见图1,径2.2厘米、穿0.58、厚0.11、重3克,原先有两种说法,如今又有新见解各有所据,究属何者为准,提出请教贤者讨论:一、据1991年中国书店出版邱思达先生所著《中国近现代铸币图说》.在该书一开始就用彩色放大连续十四页介绍“近现代稀见铸币图选”.在第七页上就刊登有此钱一品,据该文介绍,这些铸币均属“极稀见品”,有的存世一枚或几枚而已;解说为光绪通宝背满文宝江、机铸方孔铸币.该图文下方有一月牙形缺口,这说明落料时冲压欠坯,这种现象凡机制方孔钱中经常所见.
