外语教学在过去的几十年里取得了很大的进展,在其他棚关学科的推动下,研究的路子越来越宽,内容愈加丰富。在教学的发展中,一种占主导地位的理论和方法总是受到新理论的挑战,往往旧的理论并不因为新理论的出现而终结,却与之并存,从而使外语教学园地奇葩竞开,各领风彩。纵观外语教学的各流派及发展方向,笔者认为涉及教学研究的主要问题可以归纳成以下十个方面。1.教学的重点集中于语言学习者,把学习者作为语言学习过程的积极创造者。
