处在大变革时代的一代中国青年,一方面无法回避咄咄逼人的现代文明的挑战,享有着文明进步、社会改革所带来的一切。另一方面缺乏自我更新的文化机能。又背着传统文化的重负。于是,他们在觉醒中困惑,在变革中迷惘,在自我裂变中形成了二元文化心态:意识中对传统文化的逆向反叛,对现代文明的开阔接纳;无意识中对传统的积淀认同,对新潮的防御抵制,矛盾对立的两极形式、不同的价值取向,在深层的文化心态结构中,相互依存、相互补充、相互作用,支配着青年文化的生存和发展。二元化是当代青年文化心态的根本特征,它涵盖了当代青年文化心态的复杂性和多样性。具体反映在
