许大辉同志是大新县榄圩乡武姜村委会一个普通的壮族医生。1964年从县卫生学校学成回乡后,历任大队卫生员、赤脚医生、村委会医生。1996年1月5日,在全国第三次第二轮消灭脊髓灰质炎强化免疫日活动中,许大辉同志为使一名外出儿童及时服上小儿麻痹症糖丸,实现本村儿童服药率达100%的目标,在自身患病的情况下,给该儿童送免疫糖丸,在归途中,因劳累过度,以身殉职,终年56岁。
