独立学院大学英语课程旨在培养应用型人才,除了听、说、读三项基本技能外,写作能力,尤其是英语书面语用能力的提高是当务之急。目前各类英语考试都侧重考查大学生的英语语用能力,尤其是英语应用文写作能力。随着全球经济一体化,越来越多的企业开展国际贸易业务,对毕业生提出更高要求,能熟练准确地运用各类英语应用文体的高素质应用型人才将获得更大的就业机会,因此,独立学院英语教师们应该有意识地培养学生们的应用文写作能力,使之成为当今社会急需的应用型人才。
Independent college college English course aims to cultivate applied talents. At present, all kinds of English tests focus on examining students’ English pragmatic competence, especially in English writing ability.
