鲁迅在《记念刘和珍君》中说:“在这样的生活艰难中,毅然预定了《莽原》全年的就有她。”她指的就是刘和珍。课本对《莽原》注释为:“鲁迅编辑的一种周刊,所登载的文章大都是对于旧社会和旧文化的批判。”以前的课本差不多也是这样注的。备课中,我查阅了一点资料,发现刘和珍预定的不是《莽原》周刊,而是《莽原》半月刊。鲁迅主编的《莽原》周刊,是1925年4月24日创刊的,每逢星期五出刊,至同年11月27日停刊,共出过32期,随《京报》附送,并不单独发行,刘和珍似不可能预定全年。《莽原》半月刊也是鲁迅主编的,创刊于1926年1月10日,未名社出版,为32开本的杂志。后来鲁迅离开北京南下,编务又由韦素园接替,共出过48期,1927年12月停刊。(参阅林辰《鲁迅事迹考·
