《马斯特里赫特条约》1993年11月1日已获批准,并开始正式生效。这标志着囊括欧共体12国,人口逾3.4亿的欧洲联盟自即日起正式宣告诞生,同时也表明欧洲经济货币一体化的进程又向前迈进一步。
The Maastricht Treaty was approved on November 1, 1993 and has come into force. This marks the official announcement of the birth of the European Union that includes the EC 12 and the population of more than 340 million. It also shows that the process of economic and monetary integration in Europe is another step forward.
