在中国古代,我们祖先通过自己的智慧把木材精心设计、雕刻制作成精美的窗棂放在中国的传统木结构的房屋中,为中国的传统建筑增添了辉煌的一笔;现今中国的传统建筑在社会的快速发展之下,或被损毁、拆除,亦或被保留下来,但是中国的传统文化已经被深深的烙在每一个中国人的心中,无法拭除。今天我们在继承传统文化之时不忘创新,越来越多的设计者看到中国窗棂之美,因此他们积极探索、大胆设计,把我们的传统窗棂更多的表现在自己的设计作品中,从而表达对传统文化元素的喜爱与发扬。
