微血管减压术是治疗典型三叉神经痛的首选方法。然而,不是所有面部疼痛的患者都属于这类典型疾患。事实上很多准备做手术的患者都属于非典型三叉神经痛。作者比较了微血管减压术对这两类三叉神经痛的疗效。
Microvascular decompression is the preferred method of treatment of typical trigeminal neuralgia. However, not all patients with facial pain fall into this classic category. In fact, many patients who are undergoing surgery belong to atypical trigeminal neuralgia. The authors compared the efficacy of microvascular decompression on these two types of trigeminal neuralgia.
