《赎罪》是当今英国文坛最有影响力的小说家之一伊恩·麦克尤恩的作品。小说以多重视角展现了主人公布里奥妮如何在童年时犯下过错以及她如何用一生来赎罪。本文以热拉尔·热奈特的叙事视角理论为依据分析《赎罪》各章节的叙事视角,从而展现麦克尤恩运用视角推动情节发展和揭示小说主题的艺术技巧,也为小说《赎罪》的研究提供了新的角度。
Atonement is the work of Ian McEwan, one of the most influential novelists in the English literary world today. The novel shows in multiple perspectives how the heroine Brioni made mistakes in her childhood and how she spent her life redemption. This article analyzes the narrative perspectives of each chapter of “Atonement” based on Gerard Heatnet’s narrative perspective theory, so as to show McEwan’s artistic skills of using perspective to promote plot development and revealing the theme of the novel. Research provides a new perspective.
