科学社会主义在中国广泛传播以前,中国社会党代表了中国人对社会主义理解的最高水平。作为中国近代第一个以社会主义为纲领的政党,它是中国社会主义发展史上的一个重要发展阶段,不能因为其理解社会主义的局限性而忽视其进步的历史作用。中国社会党早期的活动同样具有进步的意义,具有民主主义的革命性,是中国旧民主主义革命的重要组成部分。中国社会党及其思想在中国社会主义思想史和旧民主主义革命史上具有一定的历史地位和作用。
Before the spread of scientific socialism in China, the Chinese Socialist Party represented the highest level of Chinese understanding of socialism. As the first political party with the program of socialism in modern China, it is an important stage of development in the history of the development of socialism in China. It can not ignore the historical role of progress because of its understanding of the limitations of socialism. The early activities of the Chinese Socialist Party also made progress as well. With its revolutionary character, it is an important part of China’s old-democratic revolution. The Chinese Socialist Party and its ideology have a certain historical status and role in the history of socialist ideology in China and the history of the old-democratic revolution.
