内蒙古自治区位于我国北部边疆,呈一北东——南西向的狭长地带,面积约120万平方公里。区内水泥矿产资源较为丰富,但以往地质工作及开采利用程度均较低。现已探明储量×亿吨。已知矿床(点)53个,其中大、中型18个(见图),已开采利用12处。我区地跨华北、天山——兴安岭、祁连三个地层区。南部华北地层区,构造上位于中朝准地台之北部,为相对稳定地区。自太古界至奥陶系均有水泥灰岩赋存,是我区主要的水泥
Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is located in the northern border of our country, showing a north-east-southwest strip of land, an area of about 1200000 square kilometers.
