Shaanxi Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development recently released garden-style units and residential standards. It is explicitly required that the total land area for newly constructed residential greenbelts should be not less than 35%, the residential area for urban renewal should not be less than 30%, and the greening rate for industrial enterprises, transportation hubs, warehousing and commercial centers should be over 30%.
