汤亭亭,美籍华裔作家,她成功地将中西方文化融合在一起,是华裔美国文学的领军人物。1976年她发表了其代表作品《女勇士》,小说以旧时中国社会为背景,展现了一个在唐人街华人区生活的小女孩,她的童年生活以及周围女性的现实生活,塑造了新时代下中国女人英勇的形象。本文将从女性主义角度出发,对汤亭亭《女勇士》进行深入剖析,分析在多元文化背景下几位华裔女性的不同形象以及深入了解作品中所体现出的女性主义思想,向读者们传达在当时社会背景下女性内心的声音以及想要表达的最真实的情感。
Tang Tingting, a Chinese-American writer who successfully combines Chinese and Western cultures, is the leader of Chinese American literature. In 1976, she published her representative work “The Woman Warrior”. The novel, based on the old Chinese society, shows a young girl living in Chinatown Chinatown, her childhood life and the real life of the surrounding women, shaping a new era of China Woman heroic image. This article will, from the perspective of feminism, conduct an in-depth analysis of the “Woman Warrior” by Maxine Kingston and analyze the different images of several Chinese-American women in a multi-cultural context as well as a deeper understanding of the feminist ideas embodied in her works, The inner voice of women in the social context and the real emotion that I wanted to express.
