中国养蜂史述要

蜂蜜的利用是从渔猎时代开始的。公元前7000年的中石器时代,在西班牙的壁画中,就有女子攀藤采蜜的图。我国养蜂的历史可能比养蚕还要早些。原始养蜂取蜜比养蚕缫丝似较简单些,推测开始于农业时代的初期,但在我国的史料上尚未找到证据。在公元前2600年埃及第五王朝的寺庙里,遗存有刻着养蜂人向蜂窝吹烟驱蜂的浮雕。这是世界上最早饲养蜜蜂的史实。我国从新近西北农学院周尧教授研究甲骨文的成果推断,殷商时代已有养蜂。
