教学的有效性是在实现基本教学目标的基础上,追求更大的教学效率与教学效益。这种追求是在完成教学任务的同时,培养学生的学习兴趣、学习意识和自我教育能力,为学生的可持续发展打下坚实的基础,实现学生道德品质、审美情趣、创新精神、实践能力等综合素质的全面提高。有效教学是教师在达成教学目标和满足学生发展需要方面都很成功的教学行为,是教学的社会价值和个体价值的双重体现。无论课程改革到哪一步,“有效的课堂”都是我们教师永恒的追求。
