白痣姹刺蛾Chalcocelis albiguttata(Snellen)又名茶透刺蛾、中点刺蛾。此虫在林果生产上主要为害油桐、油茶、茶、柿、咖啡、可可、柑桔、八宝树等。 在广东此虫经常与丽绿刺蛾、扁刺蛾等混同发生为害。1967年秋,广东新兴县水台林场有1,000多亩油桐受害,300多亩桐叶被吃光,严重影响生产。近年来广州地区引种速生树种八宝树也严重受害。此虫国内未见过详细报道,为此对它的生活史和防治方法进行了初步的观察和试验,现将结果整理如下。
White mole sting moth Chalcocelis albiguttata (Snellen), also known as tea tea thorn moth, mid-point thorn moth. This insects in the production of fruit trees mainly tung oil, tea, tea, persimmon, coffee, cocoa, citrus, eight treasures and so on. In Guangdong this insect often with green moths, flat moth and other confrontation damage. In the autumn of 1967, more than 1,000 mu of tung oil tree was affected in ShuiTai Forest Farm, Xinxing County, Guangdong Province. More than 300 mu of tung leaves were eaten, seriously affecting production. In recent years, Guangzhou introduced rapid planting tree Babao also seriously damaged. This worm has not seen any detailed reports in the country. To this end, it conducted preliminary observations and experiments on its life history and prevention and treatment methods.
