2008年,清华大学在国家发展与改革委员会、国家文物局、住房和城乡建设部、教育部的支持下,依托建筑学院成立了清华大学建筑学院国家遗产中心。国家遗产中心致力于文化和自然遗产的保护,整合相关资源,搭建一个文化和自然遗产保护的教学、研究、实践的平台。这一平台的核心既有清华大学建筑学院建筑历史、城市规划、风景园林学、建筑设计等专业的从事遗产保护教学、研究工作的教师,又包括国家文物局信息和空间技术基地的研究力量,还结合了清华大学建筑设计研究院文化遗产研究所、北京清华同衡规划设计研究院历史文化名城研究中心、风景旅游所等机构,同时得到清华大学人文学院、美术学院的支持。
In 2008, with the support of the National Development and Reform Commission, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Ministry of Education, Tsinghua University established the National Heritage Center of Tsinghua University School of Architecture with the support of the School of Architecture. The National Heritage Center is committed to the preservation of cultural and natural heritage, integrating relevant resources and building a platform for teaching, researching and practicing the preservation of cultural and natural heritage. The core of this platform includes teachers specializing in heritage protection teaching and research in architectural history, urban planning, landscape architecture and architectural design of Tsinghua University School of Architecture, as well as the research capabilities of the State Administration of Cultural Heritage Information and Space Technology Base, It also combines the Institute of Cultural Heritage of Tsinghua University Institute of Architectural Design, Beijing Tsinghua Tongheng Planning and Design Institute of historical and cultural city research institutes, scenic tourism and other institutions, and Tsinghua University School of Humanities, Academy of Fine Arts support.
