北枕国家大剧院、东望前门大街、西邻宣武门天主堂、南接琉璃厂和大栅栏,按说正乙祠戏楼所处的前门西河沿街算得上是占尽了地利。但这样优越的位置却没有给它带来显赫的声名,除了一群资深戏迷、票友之外,即使对于老北京来说,“正乙祠”也是个陌生而神秘的名字。如今,这座有着三百多年历史的戏楼是这样一个去处:有外表朴素低调、内里别有洞天的四合院风情;有锣鼓铙钹弦与喝彩声响成一片的戏曲意趣;还有光影闪动、香槟喷溅的时尚派对……若近观这座古戏楼、探究正乙祠的沧桑过往,原来那份古老、端庄的纯正京味儿和悠然古韵,就在看似寻常的巷陌坊问。
