随着信息社会的迅猛发展和大学教育形势的日新月异,传统大学图书馆那种藏书楼式的管理思想,即“以书为本”,一切工作围绕书本来展开,重“藏”轻“用”的做法已经远远脱离实际需要;现代大学图书馆越来越呼唤一种“以人为本”的管理思想,强调“用”书而非“藏”书。文章从“为谁选书”,“如何选书”,强调“用读者需求调节图书馆服务”以及“开放存取”理念等方面,阐述了在现代大学图书馆中如何体现“人本位”的管理思想。
