The State Foreign Trade Commission is Brazil’s highest authority for foreign trade. It is composed of 20 representatives from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the Minister of Finance, the Minister for Foreign Affairs, the Governor of the Central Bank, the Governor of the Bank of Brazil, and private companies. They study and formulate the next year’s foreign trade at the end of each year.
