Farmers in the mountainous areas of Hainan Island, state-owned farms and forest farms are still using the backward farming methods of “slash-and-burn” that is, deforestation and reclamation of wasteland to plant gum, reforest and engage in agricultural and commercial production. The “slash and burn” is also a common problem in the tropics. At present, some countries, such as Myanmar and the Philippines, have adopted the guidance method to make the backward “slash-and-burn” move toward the “agriculture-forestry combination” and the forest-based approach. At present, our understanding of whether the “slash-and-burn” approach will cause deterioration of the ecosystem and damage to the environment? The understanding is still unclear. This paper discusses the characteristics of microclimate after deforestation of seasonal rain forest. Now from June 1979 to May 1981 two cycles of information is as follows.
