党的十四大召开前夕,南开大学经济学院的学者、教授和研究生举行市场经济理论与实践研讨会.大家认真学习领会小平同志南巡讲话精神,一致认为确立社会主义市场经济的改革目标是一个重大突破.与会同志解放思想、畅所欲言,围绕建设社会主义市场经济新体制进行了深入的研讨.现将部分发言摘要如下.一、现代市场经济的本质谷书堂(南开大学经济学院院长、教授):关于市场经济和社会主义有计划商品经济的提法问题,应当说,这两种提法是有差别的,市场经济的提法更鲜明,因而意义更大.它反映了中国体制变革的大方向.过去十几年的改革有曲折也有反复,计划取向还是市场取向的争论曾一度相持不下.这次明确社会主义经济是市场经济,就是对过去的争论做出了结论.
