南郊区成水沽公社耀华大队近六年来,从多方面关心少年儿童健康成长。他们在抓好物质生产的同时,重视智力投资,积极培养新一代。从1977年开始,大队党支部决定,每年拨款1000多元,集体负担全大队所有在学学生的书费和学费;还盖了两层楼房做妇幼保健站,每年对600多名少年儿童进行两次体检,发现病情,免费治疗,并每年给孩子们注射各种防疫针5—6次,保证了幼儿健康成长。自1981年起,每逢儿童节,大队根据少儿不同年龄特点,为他们买一些有意义的用品。今年“6.1”,又向本大队小学、托儿所和幼儿园分别赠送礼金50元至100元。
