郑梦熊(人民日报副总编辑兼机关党委书记): 《中国记者》的同志问:自从今年8月初中宣部、新闻出版署发出《关于加强新闻队伍职业道德建设,禁止“有偿新闻”的通知》,到现在已近4个月了,人民日报的情况怎么样?我的回答是两句话:初见成效,常抓不懈。人民日报各级领导对贯彻落实《通知》有一个共识,就是:“有偿新闻”是新闻界最主要的不正之风,作为党中央机关报的人民日报,一定要在严禁“有偿新闻”方面带好头。我们采取了“五抓”措施,即抓动员、抓教育、抓规章、抓监督、抓奖惩,使全报社出现了对“有偿新闻”像“过街老鼠”

The People’s Daily, the party’s organ of the Party Central Committee, must take good measures in forbidding “paid news.” head. We adopted the “five grasping” measures: mobilizing people, grasping education, grasping rules and regulations, grasping supervision, grasping rewards and punishments, causing the entire newspaper to appear to have “paid news” like “passing mice”
