湖州经济技术开发区是1992年8月经浙江省政府批准设立的全省第一批省级开发区,2010年3月,经国务院批准升级为国家级经济技术开发区。湖州开发区受市政府委托管辖一镇二街道,常住人口12.5万,流动人口8万,行政管辖面积144平方公里,规划开发建设面积100平方公里。经过20年的努力,湖州开发区已成为湖州市经济发展的主引擎和中心城区建设的主板块之一。2006—2009年,连续4年稳居全省省级开发区综合实力考评第一;2010年,名列全省国家级开发区第6
Huzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone is the first province-level development zone in the province approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Government in August 1992 and was upgraded to a national economic and technological development zone approved by the State Council in March 2010. Huzhou Development Zone commissioned by the municipal government under the jurisdiction of a town two streets, resident population of 125,000, the floating population of 80,000, administrative area of 144 square kilometers, planning development and construction area of 100 square kilometers. After 20 years of hard work, Huzhou Development Zone has become one of the main engines for the economic development of Huzhou City and the main building of the downtown area. 2006-2009, for four consecutive years ranked the province’s provincial comprehensive development zone strength evaluation first; in 2010, ranked the province’s state-level development zone 6
