随着医学科学水平的迅速发展,各大中小型医院均增设图书资料室,但却远远不能适应和满足广大医务工作者开展各种科研工作的需要;基层医院图书经费又欠缺,书刊不多,单靠各医院的图书资料室提供他们的临床、科研文献和信息是不够的。我馆为了更好发挥馆藏书刊的作用,以快速传递国内外医药发展的新信息,沟通省内外各药厂、临床医院的情况,为医药科研、生产流通、医疗单位、管理部门迅速掌握信息、指挥生产、搞活经济、为临床医生撰写医学论文提供文献资料,为科研、教学提供各种情报服务,故我馆自89年以来设立了“医药图书资料网络”。网络设立后,我们为用户做了如下的工作:
