英语是中等职业学校学生必修的一门文化课程。其任务之一是使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和英语技能,培养学生在日常生活和职业场景中的英语应用能力。如果说中职英语的必修课奠定的是学生的英语基础,那么中职英语选修课追求的则应该是其专业应用性和职业实践性。本文以本人所任教的旅游及学前教育专业为例,分别从教师、教材、课堂三个角度试析中职英语选修课如何实现其应用性及实践性。
English is a compulsory course for secondary vocational school students. One of its tasks is to equip students with basic knowledge of English and English language skills and develop students’ ability to use English in everyday life and professional situations. If the compulsory course of secondary English laid the foundation of students’ English, then the English elective courses of secondary vocational education should pursue their professional and vocational practicality. This article takes the tourism and preschool education specialty taught by myself as an example to analyze how to realize the practicality and practicality of English elective courses in secondary vocational schools from the perspectives of teachers, teaching materials and classrooms respectively.
