The first session of the first people’s congress of Shaanxi Province won the first victory. This is a joyous event for all people in Shaanxi Province in their political life. It marks the system of people’s congresses as the fundamental system of our country, that is, a new stage in which the system of people’s democratic dictatorship is consolidated and more complete in Shaanxi Province. It shows that under the unified leadership of the Chinese Communist Party and the Central People’s Government, the people of Shaanxi Province are even more united and take the initiative and creativity to participate in the state administration and in all aspects of the country
