已知光纤、激光器、探测器的参数和系统传输码率和误码率的要求,如何确定系统可能达到的通信距离,是光纤通信系统总体设计的主要问题。本文以根均方脉宽标准考虑光纤带宽对通信距离的限制。把代价曲线用以估算接收机灵敏度使计算简单而准确。另外,又补充了双极性晶体管的S.D.Personick法的具体公式,并对这两种方法计算结果进行比较。最后列举几个例子,包括5.7公里实验线路估算的实例。
Known optical fiber, laser, detector parameters and system transmission rate and bit error rate requirements, how to determine the system may reach the communication distance, the optical fiber communication system is the main issue of the overall design. In this paper, the root mean square pulse width standard to consider the optical fiber bandwidth limits the communication distance. The cost curve is used to estimate the receiver sensitivity to make the calculation simple and accurate. In addition, it complements the specific formula of the S.D.Personick method for bipolar transistors and compares the results of these two methods. Finally, a few examples are included, including an example of a 5.7 km experimental circuit estimate.
